Skid Steer Loaders

A skid steer, often referred to as a bobcat, is a small maneuverable piece of construction equipment with a rigid frame and lift arms that can be outfitted with different attachments, including buckets, augers and pallet forks. It is named for its steering mechanism in which the wheels or tracks on either side work independently so that it can “skid” or turn in place. The versatility, agility, and ability to operate in tight spaces make skid steers very popular in the fields of construction, landscaping, agriculture, and material handling. They are available in wheeled and tracked versions, with the tracked versions having improved traction over rough or soft ground.
