What Are Excavator Attachments?
Excavator attachments are tools mounted on the excavator’s arm in place of, or alongside, the standard bucket. A hydraulic thumb is a pivoting arm mounted to the dipper arm alongside the bucket, closing against it to grip irregular material like rocks, logs or pipe sections.
