Equipment Overview
The XCMG XE245DK is a 25-tonne excavator designed for a wide range of worksites including excavation, mining, loading, levelling, trenching, crushing, drilling, clamping and lifting. It uses an engine jointly developed by XCMG and Cummins, rated as the highest power output in its tonnage class, with high torque at low speed and up to 7% lower fuel consumption than the previous generation. A reinforced 1.3 m³ bucket improves digging and loading efficiency, with an optional 1.2 m³ high-efficiency bucket available for a further 15% gain in digging output.
New-generation hydraulic components deliver high rated working pressure, precise control and long service life, and an intelligent management system uses CAN bus communication to integrate the main control system, engine ECM, monitoring system and GPS cloud tracking. Operators can check the machine’s location, working hours, fuel consumption and maintenance schedule remotely through a mobile app, and an autonomous controller automatically adjusts for altitude to keep the engine running in its optimum range.
