Equipment Overview
The Doosan DX255LC is a 26.9-tonne excavator built to put more power in the operator’s hands for challenging projects, with powerful arm and bucket forces plus improved lifting capacity and stability over earlier generations. Four selectable power modes manage the balance between fuel consumption and machine power, a fine swing function adds control when lifting and placing objects, and a one-touch power boost momentarily increases hydraulic power to break through hard ground. Standard or long-arm configurations are available.
Power comes from a Doosan DL06V engine producing 138 kW (185.1 hp) at 1,900 rpm, meeting EU Stage V emissions standards with D-ECOPOWER virtual bleed-off technology delivering around 7% lower fuel consumption per hour than the previous Stage IV model. Reinforced castings and forged steel pivot points on the arm and boom are built to withstand high-impact materials, and one of the more spacious cabs in the class keeps noise and vibration low.
