The Cat 326 is a 25.8-tonne excavator developed for contractors who need reliable performance across a wide range of applications, from general construction to heavy-duty earthworks. Standard technologies including Cat Grade with 2D, Cat Payload and E-Fence help operators dig with precision, load faster and work more safely, while Auto Dig Boost increases power by up to 8% for better bucket penetration and shorter cycle times. The machine emits lower CO2 than the previous 326F it replaces.
Power comes from a Cat C7.1 engine producing 151 kW gross (150 kW net), meeting EPA Tier 4 Final, EU Stage V and Japan 2014 emissions standards. Three selectable power modes and one-touch low idle with automatic engine speed control help balance performance against fuel use, and an integrated vehicle health management system gives step-by-step service guidance to reduce unnecessary downtime.
