Equipment Overview
The Kobelco SK235SR is a 25-tonne short radius excavator from Kobelco’s ultra-compact range, built to excel in tight working conditions while retaining the lifting capacity expected of a mid-weight conventional machine. Reinforced arm and bucket cylinders and a 25% increase in arm plate thickness give the machine more digging power and durability than the previous generation, and optional heavy counterweights paired with a balanced chassis layout support heavier tools and attachments.
Power comes from a Tier 3 engine producing 127 kW, delivering 22% higher torque than previous models while eliminating the need for a DPF or AdBlue, which keeps both owning and running costs down. Bucket digging force reaches 157 kN and arm crowding force 112 kN. The Series 7 cabin adds a 10-inch colour screen with jog-dial control, DAB+ radio with Bluetooth, and two bright LED work lights for improved visibility on site.
