Equipment Overview
The Kobelco SK260LC is a 26.7 to 27.7-tonne excavator built for heavy construction, earthmoving and infrastructure work, tracing back to Kobelco’s first 25-tonne class SK excavator in 1983. An Independent Travel function dedicates one hydraulic pump to travel and one to the attachment on a continuous basis, giving smooth, steady operation while moving heavy objects across the site. Thicker side panels and a larger-diameter bucket cylinder pin improve durability for demanding work.
Power comes from a Yanmar 4TN107FTT engine, a turbocharged diesel producing 155 kW at 2,200 rpm, meeting EU Stage V emissions standards. Bucket digging force reaches up to 187 kN with power boost engaged. Three work modes, Eco, S and H, balance high performance against economy and fuel consumption, and Heavy Lift and Power Boost functions add extra strength for tough digging conditions with unlimited-time use.
