Equipment Overview
The Yanmar ViO17 is a 1.83-tonne mini excavator adapted to suit a wide variety of applications, with an optional long digging arm to improve working range and an optional 83 kg additional counterweight for further stability. Coupled with its variable undercarriage, extendable from 955 to 1,280 mm, the ViO17 delivers outstanding stability and flexibility, and four tie-down points on the track frame make it safer to transport between sites.
Power comes from a Yanmar TNV-series 3-cylinder direct injection engine producing 14.5 hp, Stage V compliant with class-leading performance and low fuel consumption. A ViPPS hydraulic system combines the flow of separate pumps for the optimal combination of speed, power, smoothness and balance, guaranteeing smooth, simultaneous operation of working movements even while travelling. All cylinders are protected by spring-type steel plates, and durable steel covers with a structurally reinforced chassis give the machine bulletproof resistance in tough environments.
