Equipment Overview

The Lovol FR18E2-U is a 1.81-tonne zero-swing mini excavator from Lovol’s ALFA Series, built with the toughest heavy-duty construction to handle harsh Australian conditions. A tailless small rotation design, boom side-shifting device and telescopic chassis let it work flexibly even in the smallest spaces, and the cab includes a large backrest, angle-adjustable seat with headrest, comfortable hand rest and cup holder for operator comfort through the working day.

Power comes from a Yanmar 3-cylinder engine producing 11.5 kW at 2,400 rpm, paired with a Japanese hydraulic system using pilot-operated joysticks and an Eaton (USA) swing motor for greater precision and control. Bucket digging force reaches 15.2 kN and dipper arm force 8.5 kN. The machine runs on a mechanical fuel pump with no engine ECU, keeping the design straightforward and serviceable, and rubber tracks come standard with steel track pads available as an option.
