Equipment Overview

The Kobelco SK135SR is a 15.1-tonne short radius excavator, built with a minimal swing radius design that lets the operator work close to walls, traffic and site boundaries without the counterweight overhanging into the danger zone. It’s available with a mono boom or offset boom, the latter useful for digging directly alongside a wall without repositioning the machine, and with a choice of standard or long undercarriage. A 10-inch colour monitor with jog-dial control and an eagle-eye 270-degree camera come standard.

Power comes from an Isuzu diesel producing 73.0 kW and 375 Nm of torque, offered in both EPA Tier 3 configuration (no AdBlue required) and a Tier 4 Final variant. Bucket digging force is 105.4 kN and arm crowding force 64.0 kN, giving the machine strong digging performance despite its compact swing footprint. Kobelco’s iNDr integrated noise and dust reduction cooling system keeps operating noise down to conventional-excavator levels even with the larger Tier 4 engine fitted.
