Equipment Overview
The CASE CX145C is a 14.5-tonne short radius excavator, built with a compact counterweight and boom placement that keeps the rear of the machine inside the track width. That makes it suited to road construction, bridge work and urban sites where a conventional-swing excavator would risk clipping traffic, kerbs or nearby structures. It comes standard with a dozer blade for levelling, spreading and backfilling, and CASE’s Intelligent Hydraulic System manages the engine and hydraulics to keep fuel use down without giving up digging performance.
Power comes from an Isuzu AM-4JJ1X diesel producing 74.9 kW (100.4 hp) at 2,000 rpm, meeting EPA Tier 4 Interim emissions standards without needing AdBlue. A simple operating mode dial gives three working modes, with Super Power set for maximum horsepower and hydraulic output, and an 8-second Powerboost function for extra digging force when needed. Drive is through steel triple grouser tracks, and a synthetic hydraulic filter stretches oil change intervals out to 5,000 hours.
