Equipment Overview
The Cat 302 CR is a 2.2-tonne mini excavator delivering high performance in an under-2-tonne compact size for construction, landscaping and demolition jobs. The compact radius design and retractable undercarriage let it access and work in the tightest areas, and dig-to-blade and dozer float features make clean-up easy. A unique tilt-up cab gives access to additional service areas when needed, and routine check points are reachable at ground level through the side doors.
Power comes from a Cat C1.1 engine meeting EPA Tier 4 Final, EU Stage V and Japan 2014 emissions standards. Bucket digging force reaches 19.6 kN, and load-sensing hydraulics with a variable displacement piston pump give efficient, responsive operation. Auto idle and auto engine shutdown help reduce operating costs, and the optional Cat Stick Steer lets operators switch from traditional lever-and-pedal travel controls to joystick controls with the push of a button.
