Equipment Overview
The Kubota U27 is a 2.58-tonne mini excavator with the largest cab in its class, offering wide, low-access entry, expansive visibility and an ergonomically designed operator area. Zero tail swing delivers unrivalled core stability, smooth control and effortless operation in confined spaces without needing additional weights, making it ideal for urban projects or tight access areas. Two variable pumps enable simultaneous operation of the boom, arm, bucket and swivel for continuous, high-performance digging and dozing.
Power comes from a Kubota E-TVCS diesel engine producing 21.6 PS (15.9 kW), Stage V compliant and tuned to maximise power while minimising exhaust emissions, noise and vibration. Maximum reach is 4.68 m, maximum digging depth 2.87 m, and bucket digging force reaches up to 31 kN, enabling faster, highly efficient digging across a variety of site conditions. Built-in safety features include a swivel negative brake that automatically locks the swivel function, and the machine can be towed safely under the 3.5-tonne limit on a standard trailer.
