Equipment Overview

The Kobelco SK140SRLC is a 16-tonne short radius excavator with a long carriage undercarriage, built to offer full-size digging and lifting performance while keeping the counterweight swing inside a compact footprint. It’s suited to urban jobsites and confined spaces where a conventional-swing excavator of the same size would need extra clearance to work safely. Kobelco’s GEOSCAN remote monitoring system and iNDr noise and dust reduction cooling are fitted standard, alongside a 10-inch colour monitor with jog-dial control and a 270-degree eagle-eye camera.

Power comes from an Isuzu diesel producing 73 kW and 375 Nm of torque, with the digging force increased by 17% and cycle times cut by 10% over the previous SR generation. Bucket digging force is 105.4 kN and arm crowding force 58.0 kN. The engine is available in EPA Tier 3 configuration without AdBlue, or as a Tier 4 Final variant, and an attachment selection system lets the operator switch between bucket, breaker, nibbler and thumb flow-rate presets quickly.
