Equipment Overview
The Sumitomo SH300 is a 29.3 to 31.3-tonne excavator built for high productivity in general construction, quarrying and heavy earthmoving. A unique automatic power boost system increases digging power in quick response to working conditions during heavy-duty digging, continuing for eight seconds in SP or H mode, and cycle times are up to 12% faster than the previous generation. Sumitomo’s Efficient Maintenance System keeps pins and bushes fully lubricated automatically, extending service life and reducing rattling.
Power comes from an Isuzu GH-6HK1X engine, a 7.79-litre diesel producing 202 kW at 2,000 rpm. Bucket capacity ranges from 1.0 to 1.3 m³ ISO heaped, and a hydraulic oil change interval of 5,000 hours with a 2,000-hour return filter change interval keeps maintenance costs down over a long working life. Two variable displacement axial piston main pumps with a regulating system give the machine strong, responsive hydraulic performance.
