Equipment Overview
The CASE CX300C is a 29.9-tonne excavator built for infrastructure, urban, recycling and quarrying work. CASE’s Intelligent Hydraulic System pairs an advanced pump torque control system with three selectable power modes to match output to the task, and a unique energy management setup with five energy-saving controls delivers around 10% better fuel economy than the previous generation. A newly designed heavy-duty boom and arm add durability and reduce maintenance costs over the machine’s working life.
Power comes from an Isuzu GH-6HK1X engine, a 7.79-litre, 6-cylinder in-line diesel with a high-pressure common rail system and variable geometry turbocharger, producing 154 kW (207 hp) at 1,800 rpm and 909 Nm of torque at 1,500 rpm, meeting EPA Tier 4 Interim emissions standards through triple exhaust gas recirculation and an auto-regenerating DPD system. Tropical cooling comes as standard, and heavy-duty boom and dipper arm options are available for tougher applications.
