Equipment Overview
The Liebherr TA230 is an articulated dump truck built for off-road hauling across broken, uneven ground, redesigned as part of Liebherr’s newest generation of ADTs. An automatic eight-speed powershift transmission drives all six wheels, with actively controlled longitudinal differential locks providing automatic traction control whenever a wheel starts to slip. Front axle suspension uses A-rods and shock absorbers at the articulation joint, while the rear axles ride on separate, oscillating A-rods, and the whole truck stays under three metres wide for easier low-loader transport.
