Equipment Overview
The Astra Iveco ADT30 is an articulated dump truck built for off-road hauling across broken, uneven ground, part of Astra’s ADT range that also includes the smaller ADT25 and the larger ADT35 and ADT40. It carries a rated payload of approximately 28.2 tonnes and a 17.6 m³ heaped body capacity, producing 260 kW of gross power, suited to quarrying, civil earthworks, and general construction hauling.
Power comes from an Iveco Cursor engine, a turbocharged and intercooled six-cylinder diesel meeting Tier III emission standards. A ZF Ergopower automatic transmission shifts through six forward and three reverse gears, and permanent six-wheel drive runs through Kessler D81 axles with double reduction at the wheel hubs. Dry disc brakes are fitted at the front and centre axles, with pneumatic control and hydraulic activation, and the tipping body and chassis use high-abrasion-strength Hardox 400 steel.
