Equipment Overview
The Hitachi ZX360 is a 35.3 to 36.1-tonne excavator from Hitachi’s Zaxis medium-to-large excavator range, built for heavy construction, quarrying and infrastructure work. The Zaxis-7 cab design gives operators an exceptional 270-degree bird’s-eye view through the Aerial Angle camera system, with six image options to monitor the machine’s immediate surroundings. LED work lights, a wider-sweeping windscreen wiper and large reflective strips on the counterweight add visibility and safety in low-light or high-traffic conditions.
Power comes from a diesel engine producing 210 kW, giving the machine strong digging and lifting performance for mass excavation and truck loading work. Bucket capacity ranges from 1.15 to 1.86 m³ ISO heaped, and the machine is built with Hitachi’s usual focus on durability and easy maintenance access to keep the excavator working through demanding, continuous-use job sites.
