Equipment Overview
The Dynapac CA1300PD is a single drum padfoot roller designed for compaction in pipe trenches, road shoulders and cramped spaces, with a 1,370 mm drum width fitted with 72 pads. It has an operating mass of 5,000 kg (up to 5,200 kg maximum), especially suited to compacting silt and clayey soils on repair work for dams, power stations, parking lots and airfields.
Power comes from a Kubota V3307 CR-TE4 water-cooled turbo-diesel engine producing 55 kW (75 hp) at 2,200 rpm. Vertical oscillation of up to ±9° keeps the drum in contact with the surface, and a failsafe multidisc brake acts on the rear axle and front drum motor. The roller carries a 117-litre fuel tank and reaches a top speed of 6 km/h.
