Equipment Overview

The Cat 988 is a large wheel loader built to move more material in less time at a low cost per ton, part of Caterpillar’s large wheel loader range alongside the 988 GC. Steering and Transmission Integrated Control (STIC) gives maximum responsiveness, and a Millyard configuration with larger lift and tilt cylinders can unload a full-length log truck in a single pass.
