XCMG XC938 Wheel Loader

The XCMG XC938 is a rugged and versatile mid-sized wheel loader : built with a focus on tackling tough jobs in construction, quarrying, and industry with ease, and offering a great balance of power and ease of use for loading, excavating, and hauling heavy loads.

Coming in at around 11 tonnes, the XC938 packs a significant punch but won’t weigh you down with its size. The 99 kW (132 hp) Cummins QSB6.7 diesel engine is a tried-and-true performer that delivers solid results and a respectable fuel economy to boot. The ZF 4WG158 automatic transmission and beefy axles team up with the load-sensing hydraulic system to give you total control and seamless performance whether you’re hauling or manoeuvring – all while keeping fuel consumption in check. And don’t even get me started on the clever cooling system which kicks in with the reversing fan to keep the temperature just right even in the hottest, dustiest conditions.

Built rock-solid with a reinforced frame and heavy-duty bucket to withstand the toughest jobsites, the XC938 has got the grunt to handle a whopping 3 tonnes with a 1.8–2.2 m³ bucket. And with wet-axle brakes and centralised lubrication, maintenance is a breeze and the long-term health of the machine is protected.

The ROPS/FOPS-certified cab really does put the comfort of the operator at the top of its priority list – with a suspension seat to stretch out in, ergonomic joystick controls that just feel right, automatic climate control that keeps you comfy, and seriously good visibility to see what you’re doing. And when it comes to noise and vibration levels, they’re nice and low so you can get on with the job without getting worn out.

At about 2,930 mm high when you dump the load and with a wheelbase of 2,900 mm, the XC938 is both stable and agile – and won’t take up too much space when you need to move it.
