Equipment Overview
The Kobelco SK500LC is a 50.6-tonne excavator built for mass excavation and heavy production work, with an increased torque setting delivering around 11% more digging volume than the previous generation. A hydraulic regeneration system minimises energy loss during operation, and the machine’s drawbar pulling force and gradeability let it work confidently on rough or sloped terrain.
