Equipment Overview
The Kobelco SK30SR is a 3.57-tonne mini excavator designed to balance power and compactness for intensive excavation tasks in confined spaces. A larger boom and arm come as standard equipment, giving a wider working range, and a short tail swing lets operators work in tight spaces. Kobelco’s exclusive iNDr cooling system reduces heat, noise and dust penetration, and the machine comes with standard factory quick hitch piping and a colour LCD screen.
Power comes from a Yanmar 3TNV82A-B engine, a fuel-efficient 3-cylinder direct injection diesel producing 18.1 kW. A multiple pump flow-sharing system provides 38.4 L/min of pump flow at 23.0 MPa, maintaining ample power for any task, and Energy Conservation (‘S’) Mode lowers fuel consumption by up to 25% over previous models. A hydraulic pilot-controlled dozer operation lever adds accuracy and control, and Kobelco’s unique blade design forms earth into an arc that always falls forward, minimising material spilling over the blade.
