Equipment Overview

The Cat 303 CR is a 3.5-tonne mini excavator delivering high performance in a compact size for construction, landscaping and demolition jobs. The compact radius design lets it access and work in the tightest areas, and dozer float allows for easy clean-up. A choice of canopy or sealed, pressurised cab with air conditioning and a suspension seat option keeps operators comfortable, and the unique tilt-up cab or canopy gives access to additional service areas when needed.

Power comes from a Cat C1.1 Turbo engine producing 17.6 kW, meeting EPA Tier 4 Final and EU Stage V emissions standards. Auto idle, auto engine shutdown and efficient hydraulics with a variable displacement pump help reduce operating costs, and the optional Cat Stick Steer lets operators switch from traditional lever-and-pedal travel controls to joystick controls for the machine and blade. Courtesy work lights and a retractable seat belt with an optional reminder system round out the safety features.
