Equipment Overview

The Kalmar DCG160 is a diesel counterbalance forklift built for heavy-duty freight handling, part of Kalmar’s DCG90-180 range alongside the DCG140 and DCG180. Power comes from a choice of two turbocharged, intercooled six-cylinder diesel engines: a Volvo TAD761VE producing 160 kW at 2,200 rpm, or a Cummins QSB6.7 producing 164 kW at 2,200 rpm, both meeting EU Stage IIIB / EPA Tier 4i emissions standards. Drive runs through a ZF 3WG171 hydrodynamic powershift transmission with a Kessler D81 drive axle, and oil-cooled disc brakes provide consistent stopping power under heavy load.
