Equipment Overview

The Hyster H8.0 is a diesel counterbalance forklift built for heavy-duty freight handling, part of Hyster’s XD heavy-duty range alongside the H9.0, H10.0 and H12.0. It has a rated capacity of 8,500 kg at a 600 mm load centre and a 2.7 m wheelbase, suited to port, rail-yard and heavy manufacturing operations.

Power comes from a Cummins QSB 6.7-litre six-cylinder diesel engine producing 116 kW at 2,300 rpm, with 597 N·m of torque at 1,500 rpm (a Mercedes-Benz OM934 Stage V engine producing 129 kW is also available), driving through a torque-converter automatic transmission. Hydraulic power steering and wet-disc drive-axle brakes support continuous heavy-duty operation.
