Equipment Overview
The Crown CD90S is a diesel counterbalance forklift built for heavy freight handling in outdoor and semi-outdoor environments, part of Crown’s CD Series pneumatic-tyre range alongside the CD50S, CD60S, CD70S and CD80S. It has a rated capacity of 9,000 kg at a 600 mm load centre and a standard mast lift height of 3.1 m, suited to bulk storage, rack storage and transport-yard operations.
Power comes from a Doosan 5.8-litre six-cylinder diesel engine producing 73.6 kW (98.6 hp) at 2,200 rpm, with 363 N·m of torque at 1,400 rpm, driving through a full-automatic three-speed powershift transmission. The truck uses an enclosed, oil-cooled disc brake system that keeps out contamination for longer brake life, along with hydrostatic power steering and a full-floating drive axle.
