The Cat M322 is a 21.5-tonne wheeled excavator built for versatility and speed on municipal, utility and general construction sites, with Cat tiltrotator (TRS) integration helping operators get more done with fewer attachment changes. Low maintenance costs, long service intervals and 100% daily ground-level checks keep the machine working and reduce downtime. Optional Cat Grade with Assist helps operators stay on grade with single-lever digging, and Bucket Assist automatically maintains a set bucket angle through sloping, levelling and trenching work.

Power comes from a Cat C7.1 engine producing 129 kW (174 hp), meeting EPA Tier 4 Final and EU Stage V emissions standards. Optional Cat Payload gives real-time weight estimates while picking up material, without needing to swing first, and a range of Cat buckets from general duty through to severe duty let the machine adapt to different material types.
