A three-level basement dig through sand and sandstone in Waterloo and an underground tank removal ahead of a basement in Redfern show how different the digs get around the inner south. Mini excavators plus 8 tonne, 20 tonne and 30 tonne machines make up the range for excavator hire Alexandria, and you can head to Quotor to find them all, from compact units for tight terrace access to bigger machines for open sites.
Sort through the listings below for whatever's next on your books, from service trenches to deeper cuts on a larger site, and enquire on a few so there's a fallback if a start slips. Ask each supplier about site access, float and any shoring or dewatering your job needs, particularly where the water table sits high or sandstone shows up early in the dig, since both change how long the job takes.
