Equipment Overview

The Komatsu PC1250 is a 115.9 to 118.3-tonne excavator that redefines industry standards, combining great performance with excellent comfort and an impressive array of standard safety features. The mass excavation arrangement is designed for larger buckets, high digging forces and high production volume, matched to 50 to 70-tonne class trucks, while a long undercarriage version with reach boom and three arm options provides an excellent combination of stability, digging performance, and extended reach and depth for general construction and deep underground utility work.

Power comes from a Komatsu engine producing 578 kW (775 hp), with heavy-duty cooled exhaust gas recirculation lowering combustion temperatures and emissions. KomVision uses high-definition networked cameras fitted to the machine to give a crystal-clear, real-time bird’s-eye view of the surroundings on the widescreen cab monitor. Bucket capacity reaches 6.7 m³, digging depth 11.59 m, and strengthened revolving, centre and crawler frames are built to withstand tough, continuous applications.
