Equipment Overview
The Kobelco SK45SRX is a 4.54-tonne mini excavator packing more digging power and practical performance features into the SK series while maintaining a short tail swing. Kobelco’s proprietary iNDr cooling system, with air intake at the front of the machine and exhaust underneath, ensures quiet operation and protection from dust, and a stainless-steel 30-mesh wave-type screen filters tiny dust particles from intake air. The rectangular cab design offers plenty of room and an unobstructed view for greater operator comfort and safety.
Power comes from a Yanmar 4TNV88C-PYBD engine producing 37 hp, meeting Tier IV Final emissions standards. One-touch deceleration lets the operator switch easily to an idling state, reducing fuel consumption while the machine is at rest, and dual H (high performance) and S (economy) operation modes let operators balance power against fuel use. The boom, arm and swing bracket all use large cross-section designs for added attachment strength, and bolt-tightened pins firmly lock the boom in place.
