CAT D4 LGP Swamp Dozer

Caterpillar introduces the CAT D4 LGP (Low Ground Pressure) previously known as Caterpillar D4G dozer. Featuring a wider track width and low ground pressure undercarriage, the D4 LGP is designed for grading, backfilling, and landscaping in environments where standard dozers may not be as effective.

Powered by a robust Cat C4. 4, the LGP continues to offer class leading drawbar pull while burning less fuel than comparably sized machines. A hydrostatic transmission enables smooth, precise control when working fine grades and the wide LGP tracks spread the machine’s weight, reducing ground pressure and improving flotation on soft ground.

A large, pressurized cab and ergonomic joystick controls give the driver a comfortable operating space with poor visibility to the blade and the jobsite. Factory-integrated technologies such as CAT Grade with 3D, Slope Assist and Stable Blade increase accuracy and efficiency, enabling operators to work more quickly with less effort.
