Powered by a proven 101hp (74.5kW) Perkins turbo diesel engine producing up to 400Nm of torque the MT-X 1840 has the power to lift heavy loads and is fuel efficient. The torque converter transmission gives smooth operation and precise control during lifting, placing and manoeuvring on busy sites.

With a maximum lift capacity of 4,000kg and a lift height of 17.55m the MT-X 1840 excels in high elevation placement tasks such as installing structural materials, loading upper floors or positioning prefabricated panels. The forward reach of 13.08m gives versatility when working around obstacles, over scaffolding or across uneven ground.

The spacious operator cab is designed for comfort, safety and productivity with intuitive joystick controls, panoramic windows for all around visibility, adjustable suspension seat and optional air conditioning for improved working conditions. Stability and safety is enhanced by the frame levelling system, stabiliser outriggers and three steering modes – two wheel steer for road travel, four wheel steer for tight site manoeuvring and crab steer for lateral movement in confined spaces.
