K-Tec 1228 Pull-Type Scraper

The K-Tec 1228 Pull-Type Scraper is designed as a high-capacity, directly mounted earth-moving solution for transporting material on construction, mining and large-scale land development projects. Its heaped capacity of 28 sq yd (21.4 sq m) and 12-ft (3.7-m) cutting width empower operators to transport large quantities of material with a quick cycle time.

Durable and Performance Built, the 1228 utilizes a solid-welded, rigid-frame design and three-piece cutting edge to promote consistent loading and unloading even in difficult conditions. It has a gate opening of 6 feet 6 inches, allowing for easy flow of material. With 24% on the hitch and 76% on the scraper axle, the weight distribution of the scraper provides maximum stability during operation.

Designed to work with the tractor delivering 300 horsepower and above, the 1228 has fast and easy connectivity with a wide range of power groups. Project site specific upgrades, like larger radial tires and advanced brake systems, are also available for more customization.
