The Hamm 3518P is a padfoot vibratory roller that’s been engineered to compact cohesive and semi-cohesive soils: clay, silt and mixed fills. It’s made for earthworks, road subgrades, embankments and foundation prep, and what it does is give you a strong kneading action that gets right down to the soil structure to get the density just right.
It’s got a high-performance vibratory system and a padfoot drum that gives you excellent shear forces that help remove air pockets and make the soil stronger. This makes it a great tool for jobs where the soil is sensitive to moisture, because normal smooth drum rollers just aren’t as effective.
Powered by a robust diesel engine, the 3518P has the torque and reliability you need to get the job done, even in tough site conditions. The articulated steering and the balance of the weight give you stability and manoeuvrability on uneven ground, slopes and tight space earthworks.
The operator cab is designed for comfort and control: clear sightlines to the drum surface, controls that are easy to get to and low vibration levels so you don’t get worn out on long workdays. Durable components, heavy-duty bearings and easy access to service points help keep the 3518P on the job and keep downtime to a minimum. The Hamm 3518P Padfoot Roller is a reliable choice for getting consistent soil compaction on medium-sized earthworks projects.
