CAT D9 Large Dozer

The CAT D9 Dozer developed in 1955 is a big with high strength track-type dozer designed and manufactured by Caterpillar. Known for its legendary strength, the D9 also boasts agility and versatility, with high production capacity and the latest technology to get tough jobs done for less.

Powered by a Cat C18 engine offering up to 440 horsepower, the D9 has outstanding dozing power and torque to handle tough materials such as rock, clay, and overburden. The high drive undercarriage system increases the ground clearance, reduces the stress on undercarriage components, and extends the life of the track.

The D9 can be equipped with numerous heavy-duty blades, including semi-U, U and straight blades, while there are also rear attachment options such as single- or multi-shank rippers, which allows this dozer to be used on jobs such as bulk material moving, ripping, site clearing or slope work.
