The Caterpillar CP433 is an 8 tonne padfoot vibratory soil compactor designed for cohesive and semi-cohesive materials in road construction, land development and infrastructure projects. Powered by a fuel efficient Cat diesel engine producing approximately 82 kW (110 hp) it has strong torque, responsive performance and low operating costs across all site conditions.
The heavy duty padfoot drum with tapered pads gives excellent penetration and kneading action for clay and silty soils. The hydrostatic drive system, articulated frame and advanced vibration technology gives traction, stability and productivity while an optional smooth drum shell kit gives versatility for granular materials.
The spacious ROPS/FOPS certified operator station is designed for comfort and control with wide visibility, ergonomic controls, adjustable seating and reduced vibration for less fatigue during long shifts. Simplified servicing, ground level access points and Caterpillar components mean less downtime and more efficient maintenance.
