CAT 824 Wheel Dozer

This powerful all purpose wheeled dozer is designed to be used in all your high production material handling, site maintenance, as well as blade and dozing work in quarries, mines and reclamation and large construction projects. As opposed to track type dozers, the 824’s wheeled undercarriage provides it greater mobility, higher travel speed and less ground disturbance, ideal for work on compacted job sites, tightly packed surfaces or traveling over irregular, hard-packed terrain that has not been graded perfectly.

Their powerful engine with up to 405 HP provides powerful pushing and breakout power and features excellent responsiveness. It’s usually equipped with a straight or semi-U blade designed for spreading, leveling and maintaining stockpiling or haul roads. Strong frame and heavy duty axles offer the durability for continued extreme usage.

Joystick steering and an ergonomic cab design are some of the latest operator technologies available with 824 and other features such as Autoshift and Payload Monitoring are also offered. These improvements enhance operator comfort, productivity and control of the machine. Its fully integrated electronics also include productivity tools and diagnostics for simpler service while keeping the machine in top working condition.
