BOMAG BW24 Multi Tyred Roller

The BOMAG BW24 is a pneumatic multi-tyred roller designed to produce superior quality asphalt compaction through uniform kneading action instead of vibrating action. The numerous rubber tyres placed on the surface of the pavement create an even load bearing area of the pavement surface thereby increasing density, filling voids in the surface, and producing a smooth durable finished layer on top of asphalt layers.

Powered by a reliable diesel engine, the BW24 provides smooth hydrostatic movement throughout all phases of compaction. Additionally, tire pressure may be adjusted by the operator to alter ground contact pressure based on the asphalt mix selected and ambient temperature conditions so that the equipment is suitable for base course, binder course and wearing course applications.

The spacious operator cab provides the operator with an excellent view of the tires (and drums), easy-to-use controls, and a comfortable operating environment for extended operating times. Balanced weight distribution allows for even compaction of the pavement surface from edge-to-edge while providing stability on a wide range of pavement surfaces.
