Description

The Komatsu HB215LC is a 23 tonne class hybrid excavator designed to deliver high performance with reduced fuel consumption and emissions on construction and earthmoving sites. Powered by a Komatsu SAA4D107E-3 diesel engine and Komatsu’s hybrid system, it captures and reuses swing energy to give strong digging forces with up to 20-40% less fuel consumption than conventional excavators.

With a standard tail swing design and excellent stability, the HB215LC has smooth and responsive hydraulic operation for efficient work in applications such as trenching, bulk earthworks, site prep and utilities installation. The hybrid electric swing motor and energy storage system gives immediate torque for faster cycle times and more productivity in repetitive swing operations.

The spacious and ergonomically designed operator cabin has an air suspension seat, multifunction controls and wide all round visibility to reduce fatigue during long shifts. The machine has multiple work modes including Power, Economy and Attachment for optimal performance across tasks and minimum fuel usage.

The HB215LC is built to last with a reinforced boom, arm and undercarriage for long term reliability and stability on tough terrain. Maintenance is made easy with ground level service access and Komatsu’s KOMTRAX telematics for proactive fleet management.

Overall the Komatsu HB215LC combines hybrid fuel saving technology with power, comfort and durability, making it the perfect choice for contractors, civil construction projects and equipment hire companies looking for high performance excavators with reduced environmental impact and lower operating costs.
