The Bomag BW216 is a 16 tonne class single drum vibratory roller designed for heavy compaction on large scale roadworks, mining haul roads, infrastructure development and earthmoving. Powered by a Deutz TCD 4.1 L4 diesel engine producing 115 kW (154 hp) it meets Tier 4 Final / Stage V emissions standards.
Equipped with a 2.13m wide smooth drum and high centrifugal force the BW216 compacts deep and uniform on coarse grained and mixed soils. High static linear load and advanced vibration system ensures maximum coverage and productivity. The optional Anti-Slip Control system provides traction and gradeability in difficult terrain.
The operator environment is designed for long working hours with a spacious, ergonomically designed ROPS cabin or open canopy with excellent all-round visibility, low vibration levels and intuitive controls. Optional heating and air conditioning, adjustable seating and noise reduction measures make for a comfortable and focused working experience.
With its reinforced frame, maintenance free articulation joint and grouped service access points the BW216 is built for durability, serviceability and long term uptime. Intelligent technologies like BOMAG ECONOMIZER, ECOSTOP automatic engine shutdown and BOMAP digital compaction mapping systems increase efficiency, documentation and fuel savings on high output sites.
The Bomag BW216 delivers heavy compaction power, premium operator comfort and advanced control systems – perfect for contractors and civil construction teams working on large scale infrastructure and earthworks projects.
