BOMAG BW212 Smooth Drum Roller

The Bomag BW212 is an 11-tonne class single drum vibratory roller for heavy compaction on road construction, infrastructure and large earthworks projects. Powered by a Deutz TCD 3.6 L4 diesel engine with 95 kW (127 hp) it provides high compaction performance and fuel efficiency and meets Tier 4 Final / Stage V emissions standards.

With an 84 inch smooth drum and dual amplitude vibration the BW212 compacts deep and uniform across a wide range of soils including granular fills, crushed rock and mixed materials. Excellent traction, high gradeability and optional Anti-Slip Control means the machine performs well on uneven or sloping ground.

The operator environment is designed for productivity and comfort with a spacious ROPS cabin or open canopy layout, excellent visibility, ergonomic controls and optional heating and air conditioning. Low noise levels, vibration isolation and a well positioned instrument panel reduces operator fatigue during long hours on site.

Built for durability and ease of maintenance the BW212 has a rugged articulated frame, maintenance free joint and grouped service points for daily checks. Optional intelligent systems like BOMAG ECONOMIZER, ECOSTOP and BOMAP compaction mapping increase fuel efficiency, pass optimisation and quality control.
