CAT 740 Articulated Dump Truck

Designed for heavy-duty hauling applications, the CAT 740 Articulated Dump Truck provides high productivity and reliability in demanding construction, quarry, and mining environments. Equipped with Powerful Cat C15 ACERT Engine 489 HP — plasma trailer tractors are high-horsepower, responsive and durable pack horses designed for bulk material transport in demanding applications.

The 740 is built to work – rated to a 38-tonne payload and a 23 cubic metres heaped body capacity. Automatic traction control, all-wheel drive, and wet disc brakes on all axles also provide great control and performance on steep grades, slippery surfaces, and off road conditions.

The width provides a spacious, ergonomic cab where operator comfort and safety are prioritized use a air-suspension seat, outstanding visibility and intuitive control layout. Optional functions such as onboard payload monitoring and automatic retarder control increase accuracy and productivity, possibly decreasing fuel usage and wear in the process.
