The CAT 329 Medium Excavator has been designed to excel in mid to large job sites for both excavation and overburden work. The machine is driven by a fuel-efficient Cat C7. Powered by a Tier 4 Final-compliant 56kW (75hp) JCB EcoMAX engine (no DEF), the 329 provides high performance and bucket breakout force (6,513 lbf, thanks to the 3-pump hydraulic system), with maximum lift capacity before hydraulic limitation and optimum fuel economy. Its advanced hydraulic system contribute to efficient, responsive operation, while Smart Mode automatically adjusts engine and hydraulic power to match the task at hand—minimizing fuel consumption and reducing costs.
